Techstars Boston held its annual Demo Day on Tuesday morning, featuring twelve presentations from the program’s latest local batch of talented entrepreneurial teams.
This year’s Demo Day marks a major milestone for the local accelerator program. In addition to debuting another class of graduating companies, the event is the last led by managing directors Katie Rae and Reed Sturtevant. The duo passes the reins to local angel investor Semyon Dukach, who will now serve as managing director, working alongside Rohit Gupta and Tuan Pham.
The added importance of the startup show drew in an elite crowd of over 1,000 investors, Techstars alums and press, many of which tweeted their takes on the companies, and sentiments towards Rae and Sturtevant’s tenure.
