Hiring in the Hub 4/12-4/17: Wayfair Makes Promotions, Rethink Robotics Adds Executives

Boston's business community has been busy this past week. Find out who's going where below.

Home retail ecommerce company Wayfair made a slew of new vice presidents promotions this week. Nancy Go was promoted to vice president of brand marketing; Mike Henriques to vice president of international, Australia; John Kim to vice president of pricing; Gregory Konicki to vice president of warehousing; Joel Stevenson to vice president of financial planning & analysis; Brian Thornfeldt to vice president of lifestyle brands; Paul Toms, to vice president of strategic initiatives and Joss & Main North America; and Sarah Whitman, to vice president of category management, AllModern.

The Back Bay-based company, which recently announced its move to Copley Square Place and rolled out a fresh new brand, is hot on the trail to its initial public offering.

Robotics leader Rethink Robotics welcomed two new executives to its team. Jim Lawton moves into the role of chief marketing officer. Prior to Rethink, Lawton was at Dun & Bradstreet (NYSE: DNB), where he led the business insight company’s move to integrate D&B’s data and analytics with enterprise software solutions from companies like Microsoft, SAP, Oracle and SalesForce. Meanwhile, Milah Shah joins the company as its first-ever VP of software engineering, bringing with him two decades worth of engineering experience. Shah’s last gig was at Core Security Technologies, where he expanded the company’s product portfolio and nearly doubled the company’s revenue in less than five years.

Security firm Kaspersky Lab appointed Chris Doggett as managing director of North America this week. Within the new role, Doggett will be in charge of the company’s sales, marketing and business development in the States. Before his recent promotion, he served as senior vice president of corporate sales at Kaspersky. Steve Orenberg will also be stepping down from his position as president of Kaspersky Lab North America.
