Former PayPal Start Tank company CO Everywhere announced on Tuesday that is has officially become available on web and Android platforms.
The startup offers a hyper-local platform that allows you to draw on a map and immediately tap into said location's social streams – including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter FourSquare, even Yelp – in real-time.
The Boston startup, which recently pocketed $7.4 million in funding, is placing bets on where the majority of its userbase is currently using the platform.
“Adding support for mobile was no easy task, but we committed to it early so everyone could experience the power of CO. Drawing an area on a map has proven to be an enjoyable way to discover new things happening in specific areas and we’re striving to bring those experiences to everyone, regardless of what device is in their pocket,” said CEO and Co-Founder, Tony Longo, in a statement.
The responsive web product enables users to get even more specific when drawing areas with a click-and-drag tool. The Android app, along with a recent iOS update, users can view all the buzz and conversation going down around them by simply tapping on the app's Nearby feature.
