Boston's business elite has been busy this past week. Catch up on who's going where below.

Programmatic media company Adelphic announced Thursday it has appointed Emily Del Greco as its new VP of sales. Del Greco comes to the Boston mobile company from Google, where she served most recently as head of global audience sales strategy, and as the head of trading desk sales for Doubleclick Bid Manager, Google's DSP that originated through Google’s acquisition of Invite Media in 2010.

Remarked Adelphic Co-founder Jennifer Lum to BostInno, "Emily’s experience makes her the ideal person to lead sales at Adelphic given our focus on real-time bidding, optimization and audience identification."

This marks a major hire for Adelphic, which recently obtained a coveted patent to identify users across their multiple devices.

Added Del Greco in a statement:

To me, Adelphic sits at the absolute nexus of everything that is transformational about advertising today: programmatic, user identity and mobile. The opportunity to get involved at the ground level was simply too enticing to pass up. I look forward to helping Adelphic continue their exponential revenue growth.

Boston-based online food ordering service Foodler welcomed Michael Vosseller to its team as the company’s director of mobile development. Vosseller hails from a Boston travel tech behemoth KAYAK, where he aided in building its mobile app. Vosseller reportedly worked on an update for Foodler’s iOS app prior to his official announcement. Foodler, which employs 35 Boston employees, is in more than 3,000 cities across 48 states, serving up food from thousands of restaurants.

Waltham, Mass.-born venture capital firm Battery Ventures brought on its first female general partner this week with the promotion of Chelsea Stoner (from the Silicon Valley office). Most recently, Stoner served as a principal investor; prior to that, she worked as a senior associate focused on investing software and healthcare technology. The newly appointed partner has been involved with a few of the firm’s major investments in recent years, including Marketo, Groupon and Guidewire. Stoner sits on the board at three companies — Brightree, Avalara and Intacct, which announced a $45 million round led by the firm on Tuesday.

Waltham, Mass.-based app development platform Telerik has appointed Derek Langone to the role of Executive VP of global sales. Developers at 450 of the Fortune 500 use Telerik’s platform to manage their app lifecycle, end-to-end. Langone comes to the position with 11 years of executive leadership experience in tech, from serving as CEO of 5nine Software and the president and COO positions at SmartBear.

Quincy, Mass.-based video game studio Irrational Games is majorly downsizing. The company will let go of all but 15 employees. CEO and Co-founder Kevin Levine assured that "the staff will have access to the studio for a period of time to say their goodbyes and put together their portfolios." Other companies within Take Two — the owner of publisher 2K Games, of which Irrational Games is a subsidiary — will also be available to discuss opportunities in the interim. Fortunately, the development community in Boston and elsewhere has rallied together to crowdsource job openings for the individuals losing their jobs. People can scope out, and add to, those positions in this publicly editable Google document.
