Manchester, New Hampshire-based Dyn announced on Monday the results of its fourth quarter of 2013.

The Internet performance solutions provider added around 300 new direct customers and 90,000 new self-service customers. Additionally, the company saw growth in traffic management and message management offerings, increasing  the number of emails they delivered by 221 percent over that of Q4 2012. As a result, customers saw more revenue and user engagement opportunities, with more of their emails reaching the inbox.

To better support this growth and continue to company's momentum, Dyn brought on 50 new employees in Q4 alone, including a number of strategic hires including its current CFO Timothy O'Toole, formerly of Rapid7.

Also of note in the last quarter was the company's acquisition of ReadyStatus, an API-driven tool that improves communication between end users and companies by notifying people of intended or unintended service interruptions, in December. Said Dyn Executive Vice President of Product Scott Hilton in a statement at the time of news:

We are committed to helping our customers manage the performance of their service delivery platforms. Dyn technology focuses on optimized user experience: reliability, speed and control. In today’s transparent digital age, we believe monitoring, reporting and proactive and automated communications are a necessity.

From 2008 to 2012, Dyn's revenue has grown by 501 percent – a scale significant enough to secure the company the 201nd spot on the list of the Deloitte's Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology private and public companies in North America. Also landing the list was inbound marketing company Hubspot (82nd with 2,272 percent growth), which recently released its own impressive annual report.
