Boston's business elite has been busy this past week. Catch up on who's going where below:
Uli Becker stepped down this week from his role as Reebok's North America president, reported the Boston Business Journal. Parent company Adidas has redefined Becker's past position, and promoted Patrick Nilsson to take the reins. As the new North America chief, Nilsson will oversee both Canton-based Reebok and Adidas North America.
With its IPO on the horizon, the Boston-based e-commerce giant Wayfair tapped Michael Fleisher to move into the CFO role. Prior to Wednesday's appointment, Fleisher served as the Vice Chairman of Strategy and Operations at Warner Music Group. He also served as Chairman and CEO of Gartner Inc., guiding the company through its IPO.
Former Wayfair CFO Nicholas Malone has been named Chief Administrative Officer, and will continue to oversee finance, legal, human resources and real estate for the e-commerce company.
For those looking to make a move, cloud business software company Netsuite is planning an aggressive hiring spree for its Boston office in the next year, according to the Boston Business Journal. This news comes just weeks after Netsuite moved into its new South Boston Waterfront space; with the extra elbow room, the company hopes to bring on an additional 130 employees to its current 120-person team.
