Monday 10/21

DrinksOn Tap – Head over to Faneuil Hall and Ned Devine’s Monday evening come 6 p.m. to catch up on the latest in Boston’s mobile community. Demos for the evening include CO Everywhere, Timebox, HubSpot and Word Popr.

GA Writing for the Web: Creating Compelling, Clickable Content – BostInno’s one and only Associate Editor Lauren Landry will reveal her keys to creating catchy content. With more than 2,500 Streetwise Media articles to her name, our “LL” will surely have plenty to share with the crowd that comes to Cambridge tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday 10/22

Lunch Beat Boston #3 – Tuesday will yield the third mid-day tech dance party to date. Tryna get your groove on? Swipe a $10 ticket and trip on down to South Station to score some food, water and entry to the best lunch break of your life.

TechStars Boston Info Session – Check out the first info session for TechStars Boston in Kendall Square Tuesday night. The next class will run from January 13th till April 11th. Send in your applications now, or anytime before the November 1st deadline!

Greater Boston Startup Culture Meetup: A Tale of Three Startup Cultures – The event will feature a killer trio of three local founders, all of whom will impart the secrets of startup culture and how it can help companies succeed. Speakers include Greg Kunkel of NextJump, Jim Psota of Panjiva and Jason Henrichs of PerkStreet Financial.

Wednesday 10/23

Boston New Tech Meetup – Learn about seven innovative and new tech products, and mix and mingle with those in the Boston and Cambridge startup community at Northeastern. Presenters include Achievery: Codery, Tocobox, TeemPlay, SEIN Analytics, Rinfiniti: Optimo, CO Everywhere and Insight Numerics: Detect3D.

Intelligent.ly Content: Your Ticket to a Dream Job – VentureFizz writer Dennis Keohane will share his storytelling secrets and tricks to leverage content before and during interviews over at OpenView Venture Partners, starting at 6 p.m.

Thursday 10/24

Harvard iLab: The Business of the Internet of Things – This Thursday, Chad Jones of Xively, a subsidiary of LogMeIn, will break down the unprecedented opportunity that lies in the Internet of Things revolution. This lesson will give currency to both the business and technical consideration of creating connected products within the Internet of Things, as well as give background on the evolution of technology.

Friday 10/25

Workbar Lunch and Learn: Get Going with Online Fundraising – Whether via angels or the crowd, online funding is getting hotter and hotter for budding entrepreneurs. This session will cover whether it's worth it for you to take your idea online, as well as a review of the available tools and options.
