MassTLC Emphasizes Mentorship at this Year's UnConference [Ticket Giveaway]

Mentorship plays a key, if not essential, role in the process of starting a company. Fortunately, with all the seasoned investors and serial entrepreneurs floating around this town, Boston-based founders are not wanting for options. Still, scoping out the right influencer for your startup can be tough, not to mention the challenge of connecting with him or her.

It’s for these reasons that MassTLC unConference plans to provide entrepreneurs with an all-day, multiple mentorship experience at its November 1st event. While three carefully selected entrepreneurs (apply here!) will score first dibs on mentor sign ups, all attendees will have the opportunity to pick the brains of a long list of innovation legends within the business and tech sector from Boston and beyond.

While the beauty of the unConference is, of course, its lack of schedule, MassTLC has arranged a few things in advance–like the mentorship track–to help entrepreneurs receive direct feedback on their companies and get the most from the event.

The mentor options include a mix of talented VCs, marketers, technologists and former founders, all affiliated with some of the most cutting-edge companies and proffering their wisdom and expertise to bright-eyed, business folk like yourselves. Each entrepreneur may sign up with three mentors from the lists of sessions.
