500 Startups & Privy Host Info Session For 'Batch 007–License to FAIL' Fall Recruits

Are you and your friends–err, fellow founders–hungry to score some funding for your burgeoning business? About to finally be kicked out of your tiny Cambridge apartment for taking up too much "office space?" Desperate to put your product in front of investors at demo days in Mountain View, San Francisco and New York City?

If you answered yes to all of those questions, then you must check out 500 Startups' information session Thursday night.

The Mountain View-based global business accelerator is searching for its next class of recruits for its Fall 2013 accelerator, which has been cleverly dubbed Batch 007–License to Fail. Intimidated by its West Coast locale and Californian competitors? Don't be. Over the span of its six-class lifetime, 75 percent of the startups accepted into the accelerator were based outside of the Bay Area.

The info session will be held from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the offices of Privy on 186 Lincoln Street in Chinatown, where you'll have the opportunity to mingle with Shai Goldman, Venture Partner at 500 Startups and Ben Jabbawy, Privy's founder and former 500 Startups participant. If that's not enough to entice you to sign up, maybe the free pizza and beer will! Or just read Jabbawy's blog post on his 500 Startups experience building Privy.

500 Startups is taking applications till August 16th and plans to interview the week of August 26th. Decisions will be made by September 9th, and the Mountain View program will start October 7th.
