UPDATE: Startup Sox 2K13: A Startup Night of 'Burritos, Beer, & Baseball'

Here in Boston, we are big fans of our startups and our Sox.

Today, you can show your pride for both Boston's biz scene and baseball team by purchasing your tickets for Startup Sox, a networking event for 300 startuppers at Fenway during the Red Sox & Baltimore Orioles game on August 29th at 7 p.m.

Startup Sox will include a part pregame, part networking get-together at MassChallenge with beer and Bolocco at 5 p.m. Afterwards, participants can hop on shuttle buses for a free ride to Fenway for the game.

PRICE UPDATE: Tickets are priced to accommodate cash strapped entrepreneurs. Startups without any backing classify as "Ramen Entrepreneurs," and will pay $19 while "Funded Entrepreneurs"' tickets cost $29 per stub. "Angles, VCs, Lawyers, & BALLERS" will be put out $49 for each of their tickets.

If the 2012 event is any prediction of what to expect this year, Startup Sox 2K13 is bound to be a homerun. Last summer, the MassChallenge startup Therapeutic Systems was picked from the crowd to star on an episode of the game show, "Bucks on the Pond." Linda Pizzuti, wife of Red Sox owner John Henry, even sat with the startups. Sources told BostInno that Pizzuti has confirmed that she'll be back again this year to share the bleachers!

Tickets went fast in 2012, but with the Red Sox sweeping up the season so far, this year's tickets are certain to sell out sooner.

And there's some more good news: Use the coupon code "bostinno" will get $10 off any ticket!

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 1st. Get your ticket here!
