Nominations for BostInno’s annual Fire Awards are now open. Submissions are welcome until Saturday, June 15.
The Inno Fire Awards are BostInno’s premiere annual showcase for the startups, growing companies and people that have had a banner year within the local ecosystem. Each year, we accept nominations from community members for this awards program, and review our coverage from the past year to determine who will be on the Fire list, grouped into categories.
The 50 companies selected for the Fire list are presented to a panel of judges who vote for one honoree per category they feel has made the biggest impact or contribution to the ecosystem for each category.
Every year, the selected honorees prove to the judges how they stand out in the startup ecosystem. Honorees have all had big years, despite economic and industry challenges. The companies and individuals who are selected as honorees have released new, innovative products, have brought in new funding for their ventures, have landed game-changing partnerships and initiated next-level charitable initiatives. The Fire Awards highlight individuals within organizations who are leading, supporting or assisting these steps forward.
We want you to tell us who you think are the movers and shakers in the Boston innovation economy. If you think that’s you, let us know! Self nominations are allowed.

Last year’s honorees included Hillside Harvest, a Black immigrant-owned company making sauces inspired by its founders Caribbean roots, FiVerity, a startup tackling digital identity fraud, and Cohere Health, a prior authorization healthcare startup that grew its employee count from three to 600 in three years.
The 2023 Fire Awards took place at W Boston, with over 200 attendees.
