Check out the seven mergers and acquisitions of tech and life sciences companies we reported on in November.

  • Foxborough-based Thrive, a cybersecurity and digital services company, has acquired Custard Technical Services, an English IT support company.
  • Marlowe, a boutique nanny agency founded by InnoCrew leader Kylie Krejmas-Bourjaily, has been acquired. Krejmas-Bourjaily said she will remain as an adviser but the company's new CEO is Ashley Drach.
  • Appfire, a Burlington enterprise collaboration software company, announced its acquisition of Nextup.ai, a software technology company with productivity and collaboration software solutions for Slack and Microsoft Teams. 
  • OutSystems, a Boston application development company, has acquired Ionic, a company whose platform is used for building mobile and desktop applications using web technology.
  • Johnson & Johnson has agreed to acquire the Danvers-based medical device firm Abiomed in a deal valued at $16.6 billion. 
  • Boston Scientific Corp. is paying $615 million to acquire Apollo Endosurgery Inc., an Austin, Texas–based maker of devices for gastroenterological surgeries.
  • PTC Inc. agreed to pay $1.46 billion to acquire ServiceMax, a Pleasanton, Calif.-based software firm with about 600 employees.
