Less than three months after acquiring Erecruit, Boston-based cloud computing company Bullhorn acquired Herefish, a St. Louis, Mo.-based startup that makes automation software for staffing firms. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Bullhorn develops cloud-based platforms for the staffing and recruitment industry. Herefish is a longtime partner on Bullhorn Marketplace, which includes over 100 well-established, staffing-focused companies that offer integrations with Bullhorn's products.
“Staffing firms face numerous challenges across their businesses, but one thing is constant: all firms are looking to keep up with customer demands,” said Bullhorn founder and CEO Art Papas in a statement. “Herefish provides critical building blocks to enable this transformation, so that our customers can reap the benefits from improved productivity and top-line growth.”
This is Bullhorn's second acquisition in three months. In October, the company acquired 10-year-old staffing software maker Erecruit. That acquisition gave Bullhorn access to Erecruit’s 200-person team and its growing onboarding technology, including eStaff365, AdaptUX and TempBuddy.
The 21-year-old company, which counts companies like WinterWyman, People Bank and Kaizen among its clients, also secured a hold on Salesforce-based recruiting companies by acquiring Talent Rover and Job Science in 2018.
