Salsify, the product experience management platform based in Boston's Financial District, acquired Baltimore e-commerce consultancy B2X Partners. No financial terms were disclosed.

B2X Partners founder and president Justin King will become Salsify's vice president of B2B strategy.

“Justin is a proven, trusted expert in the product content needs of B2B manufacturers and distributors and we could not be more thrilled to have him join the Salsify family and share his wealth of knowledge with our customers and team," Jason Purcell, co-founder and CEO of Salsify, said in a press release.

Salsify is valued at nearly $100 million, having most recently closed a $43 million Series D round last August. That round was led by Greenspring Associates, a venture capital firm focusing on telecommunications with offices in Maryland and Palo Alto, Calif., with participation from Matrix Partners, Venrock, Underscore VC (the leading investor of Salsify’s Series C round in January 2017) and North Bridge Venture Partners.

Last November, Salsify moved into a new office on Federal Street: 55,000 sq. ft. spread across three floors. The move took place shortly after the company opened new locations in Portugal and Austin, Texas.

With the acquisition of B2X Partners, Salsify acquires all assets in B2X Academy, an online training platform for distributors that includes "Digital Branch Roadmap" training course.
