Meet Salem, Mass. Mayor and Innonorth Cofounder Kim Driscoll

Kim Driscoll has been the mayor of Salem, Massachusetts since 2006. She’s responsible for several economic initiatives that have transformed Salem into a popular destination in the Greater Boston area. As a result of Driscoll’s leadership, Salem has come to be one of 110 cities and towns in the state of Massachusetts designated as Commonwealth “Green Communities” status. Driscoll is also spearheading innonorth, a free membership-based program offering a unique blend of events, services, and perks with the singular goal of building and fostering an active innovation hub north of Boston. Additionally, Driscoll is also a big supporter of local artists via Salem’s popular Artists’ Row, a seasonal program (April to November) that provides space for artisans interested in building their audience through daily engagement with residents and visitors to Salem.

Check out Mayor Driscoll’s pre-podcast Q&A below. Driscoll was also gracious enough to invite us to Salem City Hall for a special BSU recording. You can listen on any of your favorite audio platforms (SpotifyApple PodcastsStitcherSoundCloud). Enjoy.
