Mardi Fuller has enjoyed an interesting journey into a critical role communicating Boston’s most innovative education initiatives. She spent over six years as a marketing manager for the Boston Red Sox before taking on marketing roles at Boston-based technology companies. Now the director of external relations at Boston Plan for Excellence (BPE) and Boston Teacher Residency (BTR), Fuller is responsible for communicating the progress of organizations with the purest of intentions: drive exceptional outcomes for all students by developing great teachers and great schools.
In partnership with Boston Public Schools, BPE operates Dearborn STEM Academy in Roxbury, which occupies the first new school building in Boston in 17 years, and runs a flagship STEM program (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Fuller is instrumental in building connective tissue between Dearborn STEM Academy and Boston’s business community to ensure Boston’s youth is aligned with the tech-driven Boston labor market that’s constantly changing.
