Wayfair, alongside many other candidates, has some serious chances to win big at this year's MassTLC Technology Leadership Awards.

On Wednesday night, the Mass Technology Leadership Council announced its pool of finalists for the 21st edition of the awards.

Quick takeaways: Wayfair is nominated three times in the "CMO of the Year," "Emerging Executive of the Year" and "Massachusetts company of the Year" categories. Both music software company iZotope and microphone maker Vesper appear multiple times. Among the "Influential Consumer Tech of the Year" finalists, we find Sheprd, the local transportation systems for students launched in 2017.

The pool of finalists will be further narrowed during the coming weeks. Winners will be announced at the Mass Technology Leadership Awards Gala on Oct. 3 at Boston's Seaport World Trade Center.
