Hey. Yeah, you. What're you doing when you get out of work tonight? What's that ... going home? Wrong. You've got plans. Listen up ...
You've heard the hype, but it's actually happening: As of today at 4 p.m., Trillium Brewing Co.'s much-hyped Greenway beer garden is open to the public.
"After a busy month of planning and building, Trillium Brewing Company and the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy are ready to open The Trillium Garden on the Greenway!" Trillium said in a release. "The seasonal open-air beer garden, which will run weekly through October, is free to the public with draft beer and wine available for purchase."
The beer garden is located on Atlantic Ave. & High St. on the Rose Kennedy Greenway adjacent to Rowe's Wharf and across the street from the Boston Harbor Hotel.
The site will feature pours from Westport Rivers Winery and a revolving lineup of eight beers from Trillium. It closes at 10 p.m., and is slated to run through October.
If this isn't news enough, Trillium has disclosed the location and details of its forthcoming two-story, 16,000-square-foot Fort Point restaurant, taproom, and brewery. For full details on that, head here.
