We all have our ways of dealing with the impending departure of President Barack Obama. For Slumbrew, that means sending POTUS off in the only way it knows best – with a beer brewed in his honor.
#ThanksObama, a brewery only nitro stout, will be released on Jan. 19.
"Please join us to lift a pint in gratitude for marriage equality, healthcare reform, the protection of our civil liberties and eight years of progress," founder Caitlin Jewell said.
The #ThanksObama Stout clocks in at 5.5 percent ABV. Brewed with hints of coffee and chocolate, the tribute ale is " a warming and heartfelt message of Thank You for a job well done."
"It is important to note," added Jewell, "that this is NOT a 'Russian' Stout and this is NOT an 'Imperial' Stout."
