Zumper, a San Francisco-based company that helps people find apartments nationwide, released their Spring report on neighborhood rent prices in Boston yesterday.
For one bedroom apartments, the South Boston Waterfront is again home to Boston’s most expensive median rent price per month at $3,060, narrowly ahead of Downtown at $3,000.
Mattapan is the city’s most affordable neighborhood, with a median rent price for one bedroom clocking in at $1,510.

According to Zumper’s most recent national report, Boston is tied with Los Angeles as the country’s fourth most expensive city. This report, however, shows that rent prices in Boston have remained relatively flat.
