Still need some extra help convincing your manager? Below is an email script you can tweak for your circumstance. We hope to see you June 7!
Re: BostInno’s State of Innovation Proposal
I’d like to attend BostInno’s annual State of Innovation Forum on June 7 and am writing for your approval. In it’s fourth year, State of Innovation has established itself as the leading event for Boston's most prominent leaders gather to analyze and discuss the key issues facing Boston's startup and business communities.
During the afternoon I’ll have the opportunity to listen to high-profile keynote speakers and panelists and to attend two General Assembly workshops led by industry experts. This event will also allow me to increase my network; with over 1,000 of Boston’s professionals in attendance, I’ll have a unique opportunity to make meaningful new connections.
Attending this conference will particularly help me with these projects/goals/initiatives that we’re working on:
- Example 1
- Example 2
- Example 3
Following the conference I will share the takeaways I’ve gathered with our team. Thank you for considering this request; please let me know if I can answer any questions. I look forward to your reply.
Thank you,
