Last night we held the second event in our new State of Innovation Meetup Series. While admiring LogMeIn's new office space (seriously, check this place out) and in between delicious eats, we networked with a hundred local tech professionals and engaged in a lively conversation about the Internet of Things. Our discussion was led by IoT experts Charlie Ungashick, EVP Marketing, Technology Platform Group, at PTC, Dulcie Madden, Co-Founder & CEO of Rest Devices and Paddy Srinivasan, VP and GM of Xively, LogMeIn's IoT group.
Together, we covered a variety topics such as the state of investments in IoT, future applications of the technology, and the under-talked-about elements to sometimes over-hyped market (the panelists unamimously agreed: service is way more important than it's being talked about).
