Last month we launched our newest event series, the State of Innovation Meetup Series, an opportunity for industry experts to discuss current trends, ask tough questions and share their insights. As you've come to expect from BostInno events, we also leave plenty of time for networking and casual conversation over a cold one or two.
Our next topic is a growing trend in high-tech that’s having profound effects on our lives: the Internet of Things (IoT). From wearable fitness devices (a major topic of conversation at our State of Innovation: Fitness Tech meetup) and other "smart" consumer goods, to sophisticated machinery and municipal adaptations of the technologies, IoT can--and will-- impact it all. Hey, even Alec Baldwin got in on it during this year's Super Bowl.
This discussion will cover both the vast opportunities presented by this "smarter" world vision and the challenges and concerns the technologies pose. Join in the conversation about the future of IoT with our panel of experts.
Panelists include:
Charlie Ungashick, EVP Marketing, Technology Platform Group, at PTC, a global provider of technology platforms transforming how companies create, operate, and service the “things” in the Internet of Things. Follow him on Twitter @ungashick. Dulcie Madden, Co-Founder & CEO of Rest Devices, the creator of the Mimo Smart Baby Monitor and other tools to simplify parents' lives and build "The Smart Nursery”.
