Last night we kicked off our new State of Innovation Meetup Series with a discussion on fitness technology and innovation. Over one hundred entrepreneurs, professionals and fitness-minded individuals came out to join panelists Chris Heidelberger, Co-Founder and CEO of DRIVN, John Kelley, CEO of CoachUp, Elyse Winer, VP of Marketing at Lose It! and Marcus Wilson, founder of NOBULL in a lively conversation.

Together, we covered a variety topics such as the future of wearables and the predicted shift toward sensor-based technologies to track fitness goals, how Boston has become a hub for fitness innovation (think top talent, great medical facilities and a crazy sports fan base) and how innovation and technology play a role in the panelists' personal fitness and health routines.

Click through the slideshow below to see photos from last night's event and head over to Twitter to continue the discussion on the #BOSSOI feed.
