A Birmingham company has added a member to its C-suite.
Dash Solutions – formerly Prepaid Technologies — named Tan Truong as its chief technology officer.
Truong brings more than 20 years of experience in establishing and leading technology, product and engineering teams in building and delivering global platforms, products and solutions.
Most recently, he served as chief operating officer at Vesta, a payment fraud protection firm. Prior to Vesta, he held leadership roles with SVM, a Blackhawk Network Business, UniRush (acquired by Green Dot) and FSV Payment Systems (acquired by US Bancorp). He holds a master’s degree in management from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a bachelor’s in computer science from Lamar University.
In his new role, Truong will drive strategy for Dash Solutions’ technology, engineering and data science/artificial intelligence organizations.
“Tan is a talented executive, and I am very confident in his ability to lead the technological advancements for Dash Solutions,” Dash Solutions President Steve Fussell said. “Having worked in and around payments for 20 years, he brings the expertise and vision needed to position our technology organization for growth and further success while maintaining operational excellence.”
The announcement comes on the heels of a new chief financial officer being named. Seton Marshall was appointed CFO in September 2023. That news The news came shortly after the company unveiled an Atlanta-based acquisition.
Dash Solutions acquired KyckGlobal, a fintech company and payments platform.
KyckGlobal was founded by Ashish Bahl in 2018. Bahl was also the founder of Harbor Payments and Acculynk. Financial details were not disclosed.
