Multiple entrepreneurs are getting an extra boost for success in Birmingham with another round of an Endeavor program.

ScaleUp BHM has named the members for its third cohort. The members will participate in the eight-month, non-dilutive program designed to equip Birmingham’s fastest-growing, highest potential entrepreneurs with the resources they need to take their companies to the next level. The startup founders will receive executive coaching, monthly forums, founder-to-founder mentoring sessions and more.

Four entrepreneurs from three companies were selected for this year’s Birmingham cohort, including:

• Theodore Harvey, founder and CEO of SynsorMed. According to a release, Harvey's company is the first platform to provide a comprehensive RPM solution that combines video telehealth, proactive remote patient monitoring and analytic insights to ease the journey toward value-based care. SynsorMed integrates with consumer-grade FDA-approved wearable devices to provide an analysis of a patient’s condition outside the doctor’s office.

• Jennifer Ryan, founder and CEO of Blueroot. The company is a health-conscious fast-casual restaurant concept serving up salads, grain bowls, and more, all crafted by a James Beard award-winning chef. Their goal is to bring bright and nutrient-rich foods to Birmingham for everyday enjoyment, combining quality, nutrition and convenience.

• Austin Senseman, cofounder and CEO of Conserv and Nathan McMinn, cofounder and chief technology officer for Conserv. The cofounders combine IoT and custom analytics software to create preventive conservation solutions. According to a release, by integrating risk management for the environment, pests, disasters and other agents of deterioration, Conserv has built a single tool for collections. The company also is partnering with researchers and practitioners to build the next generation of sensors and software for cultural heritage.

“We are thrilled to accept this group of exceptional founders into the ScaleUp program," said Endeavor Birmingham General Manager Malcolm McDonald. "Endeavor looks forward to pairing them with mentorship and coaching that can help them find unlocks for massive growth and impact.”
