Want to be considered among Maryland's top entrepreneurs and innovators?

Nominate your company, a local startup, nonprofit or venture capital firm — even yourself — for one of Maryland Inno's 2022 awards.

In the coming year, we're looking to honor some of the state's most popular and highest-potential startups, companies that are on fire — adding employees, creating tech and attracting new investments — and young innovators from across the state.

Nominations are now open for three Maryland Inno awards, and some have deadlines coming up fast.

Inno Madness aims to bring the tech and startup community together for some healthy competition –– bracket style.

Nominated companies will be grouped into brackets of private, fast-growing, tech-enabled local businesses and then voted on by readers and members of the community. Week by week, companies will go head-to-head through the rounds until we have a winner.

Nomination Deadline: February 11

The Fire Awards are American Inno's premier recognition program, coming to Maryland for the first time this year to honor the companies and organizations setting the local innovation economy ablaze.

Nominate to help us find the biggest innovators in the state. Companies and organizations that are experiencing significant growth and success, both newer startups and later-stage tech pillars, as well as accelerators, venture firms, nonprofits and more, are eligible to apply.

Inno Under 25 returns for a second year in 2022 — this time with the option to nominate a Maryland founder, entrepreneur, innovator or leader 25 years old or younger.

Tell us about a young success story, or a future leader we should know about. We're looking for individuals making a difference at local startups, budding founders and other young people contributing to the local tech and startup industry in impactful ways. Nominees should be 25 years old or under at the time of nomination.
