Voting is now open to determine Wichita's favorite startup company.

After three rounds of reader voting, Lawn Buddy and Co-Immunity emerged as the two finalists.

An ultimate 2022 Wichita Inno Madness champion will be crowned next Tuesday afternoon. One vote per reader is allowed in the final round.

Voting can be done by clicking the link below.

Lawn Buddy, led by Steven Werner, is making good in 2022 on plans to broaden a customer base that already extends from coast to coast within the landscaping industry. The company helps support those businesses and others with its technology platform.

Co-Immunity, meanwhile, is the nonprofit startup brainchild of Madeline Shonka. You can read more here about the organization, which helps the chronically ill connect to services.

Look for more from both startups throughout the final round.

Co-Immunity and Lawn Buddy made the finals from an original bracket of 16 local companies.

You can read more about each participant in our introduction to Inno Madness earlier this month.

Inno Madness is our friendly, bracket-style challenge where readers vote to advance companies based on one question: Who would you invest in? Whether you believe in one mission or product slightly over the other or would prefer to back a more established company versus an early-stage startup, how you answer that question is entirely up to you. The bracket was designed to shine a spotlight on 16 innovative, fast-growing local businesses.

The bracket was assembled based on reader nominations, as well as editorial input from the Wichita Inno team and local entrepreneurial stakeholders. Seeding was determined by the editorial team. The contest rules are available online.

The goal of Inno Madness is to give a snapshot of some of the most-promising tech companies in Wichita. It is by no means a complete list of Wichita’s best startups, which is a testament to the growing size of the local tech scene. It's also not just a list of the 16 most-funded startups in the region.

Instead, the bracket is meant to represent the full breadth and diversity of the ecosystem. In the end, think of the bracket as just a fun look into tech local companies you need to know in 2022.
