After a week of voting, Wichita has selected eight local startups to move on in the WBJ’s Inno Madness contest.

The headliner of Round 1 was Co-Immunity’s upset of QuickHire, which was also the closest contest at 52% to 48%.

Joining Co-Immunity in Round 2 will be 2U Auto, Fair Market Health, Lawn Buddy, Pinole Blue, Unified, Plain Solutions and Voltage.

Voting for Round 2 will open at noon Wednesday and continue for a week. The field will continued to be narrowed down through March to crown an eventually Wichita Inno Madness 2022 champion.

The goal of Inno Madness is to give a snapshot of some of the most-promising tech companies in Wichita. It is by no means a complete list of Wichita’s best startups, which is a testament to the growing size of the local tech scene. It's also not just a list of the 16 most-funded startups in the region. Instead, the bracket is meant to represent the full breadth and diversity of the ecosystem.

Be ready to start voting again Wednesday in Round 2, and see our Inno Madness introduction for more on the contest and all 16 participants.

And be sure to check our Wichita Inno website to stay up on all the local startup news.
