Wichita technology company Lawn Buddy is rolling out a new subscription plan that its founder says will help the company reach more customers in the lawn and landscaping industry.

In addition to its existing plan, which costs $30 a month, the company has launched a $5 tier that still provides digital tools that will help customers manage their business.

“Since the beginning of Lawn Buddy, we have been on a mission to provide extreme value to our business owners,” says CEO Steven Werner. “Software should never be your biggest expense. We are proud to provide business owners with advanced tools with fair and honest pricing. We strongly believe that technology in the trades industries should be accessible to all and at every stage of business growth.”

Since its founding in 2016, Lawn Buddy has amassed customers in all 50 states.

The company recently closed on a $1.5 million funding round and was able to grow sales volume by 300% during the pandemic as people utilized its technology to facilitate social distancing.

The company last October launched Blyss, a similar platform to provide Lawn Buddy services like scheduling, processing and invoicing to other service sectors.

Some of the funding will enable it to offer that service to more directly to the electrical and home remodeling industries.
