Upskill has had a pretty big year.

In January, they rebranded from APX Labs to their current name, doubling down on the wearable tech company's mission to help manufacturing workers "upskill."

In April, they raised an undisclosed amount for its Series B from Boeing and GE Ventures. And the following month, Upskill turned around and acquired Austin-based augmented reality startup Pristine for an undisclosed sum. Pristine had previously raised a $5.4 million Series A round, our sister site Austin Inno reported at the time.

Later, in June, Upskill was named to the Inc. magazine's 2017 Best Workplaces list.

Now, Upskill is adding a move to a new headquarters to that list.

The wearables company is officially working from its new Tysons Corner home after moving out of its Herndon, Va., space earlier this year. Located at 8614 Westwood Center Drive in Vienna, Va., Upskill's new office is now about 19,000 sq. ft. The space includes several conference rooms and ample space to potentially host meet-ups or company happy hours, a spokesperson told DC Inno. Upskill's office layout also follows what it's calling a "Town Hall" format, meaning open office space is the name of the game.
