Since outgrowing AOL's Fishbowl Labs a couple of years ago, mobile field service management software startup mHelpDesk has been based out of an office suite in Fairfax, Va. The organizational solutions it offers reach thousands of people a day, a number that has been growing even faster since HomeAdvisor took a majority stake in the company.
mHelpDesk helps home service providers like repair workers, contractors and others keep their businesses organized.
The goal of a neatly arranged system applies as much to the physical office space as it does to the software offered by the company. The lighting, wall art and personal touches brought in by the staff mix a cozy look with a kind of utilitarian spaciousness. It's a good thing there is still room for growth as the company is on the hunt for more talent all the time.
