In Arlington, Va., LiveSafe is making software and smartphone apps focused on secure, security communications to make college campuses more safe for students and to help enterprise security teams keep clients out of harms way.

"Within the last few weeks, we launched our mobile safety communications platform at universities and businesses like John's Hopkins D.C. campus, Kennesaw State University, Dallas Children's hospital, Potter's House in Dallas, and started engagements at University of Richmond, Hampton University, City of Vernon and Eastern Kentucky University. Our founder was [also] named as one of Arlington's 40 under 40," said LiveSafe vice president Eren Koont.

While the company's flagship product helps resolve and report serious threats against users, the team behind it is a fun-loving group of millenials that enjoy to kickback and have a good time in the office.

LiveSafe's office is relatively young, the average age of employees is about 29-years-old, Koont said.

The Arlington office welcomes more than 30 professionals everyday and brings some cool amenities.

"As a team-building exercise, we engaged people from across the business to design our new space," Koont told DC Inno, "we transformed an old-school style space with outer offices blocking views of Georgetown and the Potomac into a flexible open-office with meeting rooms, work spaces, and social areas that have great views and natural light.
