iPhone 6s Destroyed Past Apple Sales Records

Apple announced Monday that iPhone 6s and 6s Plus sold over 13 million units in their first weekend on the market, "blowing past any previous first weekend sales results in Apple's history," CEO Tim Cook said in a press release. This time last year, Apple was also touting record-breaking sales--of the iPhone 6--which it said topped 10 million units its first weekend out. In today's press release, Apple credits multi-touch interface and iOS 9 for the device's popularity. --Galen Moore
