We've decided to push back DC Fest until Tuesday in light of the thunderstorms expected all day today so if you've been procrastinating getting your tickets for an evening of food trucks, live music and the coolest companies in D.C., you're in luck. 1776 launches Challenge Cup

Tech startup incubator 1776 officially opened the Challenge Cup 2016 process for applications yesterday. The contest is going to be even bigger than it was in the last two years, with 50 cities on the agenda before the finals are held next June in D.C. 1776 also announced a newly expanded partnership with Ted Leonsis and Steve Case's VC firm Revolution to help expand its reach.
