With April will come sunshine, warmer temperatures, blossoming cherry trees, and of course the Nationals’ Opening Day. Grey skies will be replaced with fluffy clouds and sunshine. Since spring is all about rejuvenation, there is no better way to re-energize your marketing career than checking out some networking events, seminars, or workshops this April. There’s a happy hour with Drizly, a bootcamp to align your sales and marketing teams, and the AMADC mentorship program. Entrepreneurship in the US: Ideas, Incubators, Funding & Success Strategies April 2nd 6pm-7:30pm. If you’re interested in learning about start-up incubators and hearing what it is like to start your own company from scratch in DC attend this presentation by Cultivate Ventures at WeWork. Marketers Helping Marketers, The Spring 2015 AMADC Mentor Program Beginning April 7th 6:30pm-8:30pm. This four-week workshop program, by the American Marketing Association DC Chapter, matches up-and-coming marketing professionals with senior-level marketers in their field of interest. Gain career guidance and enhanced marketing skills through one-on-one partnerships and industry leader speakers. Marketing Research Association 2015 Spring Symposium April 10th, 8am-4:45pm The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of MRA Spring Symposium will be held this month for members and AMACD members through a special partnership. Digital Marketing: Key Concepts and Metrics April 13 6:30pm- 8:30pm. Attend this Monday evening course by General Assembly to learn the fundamentals of digital marketing for retailers to brands to agencies. Attendees will be given an overview of techniques, principles, metric measurements and much more.
