#DCTechMadness Bracket is Revealed. Vote Now!

Thriving tech economies all have competition and we want to fuel some friendly competition amongst the D.C.-area tech community this March... bracket style.

Polls have officially closed for the first-round. Round 2 has begun...VOTE here

We received hundreds of nominations from the community and broke the field down to a tournament of 64 which we revealed last night at our Penn Social party. All companies of the companies included are locally based. Though there are many great tech companies with a strong D.C. presence, we wanted to highlight the companies that were built here.

In selecting the 64 companies, our team considered momentum, funding raised, market opportunity, team, and existing growth. The seeding was based on company stage ranging from public companies (1's) to seed funded startups (16's). We expect quite a few upsets.

Check out an overview of all 64 Tech Madness companies here.

When voting, we're looking ahead. Voters are encouraged to consider future growth opportunity, momentum, and to ask themselves: "which one of these companies is primed to grow in the next year?"

Now, the fate of the top 64 is in your hands.

Vote below to advance your favorite companies on to the next round by Wednesday, March 18. The 32 companies that advance will be announced on Thursday, March 19 and the next round of voting will kick off.
