DC Inno Announces The #DCTechMadness's 150 Startup Finalists

Over the past several years, the District has been fortunate to be the home of a large base of rising, high-potential tech companies. These tech companies continue to grow and innovate in a city who’s backdrop of stark monument lights and legislative authority otherwise defines it. Major corporate entities like Living Social and BlackBoard once set the tone, but today more so than ever before, we are witnessing an emerging startup scene that is reinterpreting what it means to innovate.

Startup culture is alive and well in the nation’s capital, but only because of the businesses and teams behind their brands. At DC Inno we are deeply interested in the ongoing growth of D.C.’s tech scene — essentially believing in the city’s entrepreneurs — and our March #DCTechMadness competition is an extension of that belief.

In the spirit of NCAA’s March Bracket Tournament, DC Inno is bringing the tech community together for some healthy competition… bracket-style. The city's top startups and community influencers will enjoy game-day snacks, drinks, and incredible company as we celebrate the 64 companies in our Tech Madness Bracket. On March 10th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m at Penn Social we will reveal the bracket, together. During the party, you'll have an opportunity to fill out your own paper bracket predicting this year's Tech Madness winner.

Before narrowing the competition to a final 64 companies — via “Selection Tuesday” — we are revealing the 150 Tech Madness finalist.
