But it's also exciting, a changing of gears that will reinvigorate education startups across the DMV region, inspiring them to keep pursuing the funding, the mentors, the technological assets necessary to make their venture dreams come true.
That said, we already have high hopes for these 8 DC-area education startups that have had one amazing 2013. They're the darling businesses that have impressed us, pushing the academic world forward one brilliant idea at a time. As for what the future holds for these buzzy names, well there's no telling what will happen one, two, eight months from now, but there's no doubt in my mind that these innovative startups will find success.
