When you have a World Series championship baseball team in town, there's a good chance their stadium will be a popular destination.

And that proved true this year. Nationals Park was the most celebrated venue in a new breakdown of the most popular destinations for Lyft riders in Washington, D.C.

Meanwhile, riders in the area tend to be generous tippers, as well.

Lyft's list of top tipping cities puts D.C. at No. 5, just behind Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York City. It was also No. 5 for rounding up fares to donate to charity and No. 6 in terms of sharing rides with strangers.

Here's a look at the other winners in Lyft's local 2019 Lyftie Awards:

  • Most Celebrated Venue: Nationals Park
  • Top Transit Stop: Union Station
  • Late Night Neighborhood: Dupont Circle
  • DC Late Night Hero Driver: Scott Tanner
  • Most Celebrated Restaurant/Bar: Busboys and Poets
  • Top Bike and Scooter Destination: William Jefferson Clinton West Building
  • Best DC City Advice from a Lyft Driver: "I have two mainstays in DC that rarely disappoint - Capitol Hill and the college scene," Dorma Guice said. "We Lyft drivers in DC are fortunate to have what I call "Polywood" (Hollywood for politics). Not only are you likely to pick up power-players like Nancy Pelosi, but White House and Congressional Staffers who work tirelessly well into the night. Also, I grossly underestimated how much of a college town Washington DC is. With over twenty colleges and universities just in DC alone, I am never at a loss for rides. (However, this can really be felt during the Summer and Holidays when the students go home.) That's when I head to the burbs - suburbanites need love too."

Flashing back to 2018, Lyft used a little different format for its awards. Here are the 2018 winners:

  • Most Visited Bar: El Centro D.F. (Georgetown) Most Visited Concert Venue: RFK Stadium Most Visited Restaurant for Brunch: Busboys (14th Street) Most Visited Late-Night Restaurant: Brixton
