It's not every day – or every decade – that we get to celebrate a World Series champion in the nation's capital.

The Washington Nationals took home baseball's top prize this week as it overcame an underdog status and lively Houston crowd. Now, they're coming home to celebrate with a Saturday parade in D.C.

Nothing beats the real thing, but large crowds and rowdy fans aren't everyone's cup of tea. In addition to a schedule for the parade, we aggregated a list of ways to watch the events unfold and sing along to Baby Shark from the comfort of your home or local bar.

The parade will start on Constitution Avenue NW at 15th Street NW, proceed east along Constitution Avenue NW and end on Pennsylvania Avenue NW at Third Street NW with a team rally. It starts at 2 p.m.

For transportation, Metro partnered up with Xfinity to run extra trains on Saturday to accommodate the tens of thousands of expected fans, even canceling its previously scheduled track work. The closest stop to the beginning of the parade is Farragut North, and the closest stop to the end is Smithsonian.

To deal with the traffic, the District set up a hotline for fans thinking about attending to receive text alerts on safety, transit and weather – you can text “NATS” to 888-777. The main takeaway is: don't try to drive and park.

So, where can you watch?

On TV, the MLB Network and its local affiliates usually show World Series parades beginning to end, and it's planning to do so this year. NBC Sports Washington and local TV stations are likely to broadcast some or all of it, too, and news sites like WTOP, Fox 5 News and WUSA will cover the parade.

As for online viewing, not much live-stream information is currently available, but MLB.com is expected to have live coverage and videos. You can also check out the Nationals Twitter page for updates.
