Okta, the company providing secure cloud products, announced it will be expanding its offices to Washington, D.C. Okta specializes in preventing data breaches and cloud connectivity within organizations. Some of the company’s notable D.C. clients are Federal Communications Commission, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Mapbox.

“We're excited to expand our on-the-ground engagement in our nation's capital and to support our growing number of private and public sector customers from closer proximity,” said Armen Vartanian, Okta's vice president of global workplace services to DC Inno. “The office, located in the epicenter of policy-making and innovation, allows Okta to be in the heart of the action, stay on top of public discourse on identity and continue to strengthen our team with top-tier talent."

Some of Okta’s products include a universal directory that allows organizations to manage every device, app and user centrally. Okta’s other products work to automate how employees move through an organization, multi-factor authentication and API access management.

The company is also expanding to Stockholm and Paris. Okta will also be doubling the space of its second headquarters in San Jose, California.

“The success of our customers and partners is Okta’s highest priority, and these new offices in three of the world’s most thriving capitals enable us to further our commitment to our customers in the private and public sectors by providing an even more personal touch,” said CEO and Co-founder of Okta Todd McKinnon in a press release.

Okta’s D.C. office will be able to hold about 80 employees and opens July 16.
