First announced in January, MakeOffices' Glover Park location is officially open, making it the first co-working space to land in the Northwest neighborhood.

The entire location stretches across 30,000 square feet and is located on the second floor at 2201 Wisconsin Avenue NW, sharing a building with the Chinese Embassy visa section, Saint John's Community Services and The Meridian luxury apartments.

According to a press release, the new MakeOffices at Glover Park has 57 private offices, 40 dedicated bullpen desks, four conference rooms, four team rooms, five audio-visual booths, eight call rooms, two wellness rooms, a relaxation room with two massage chairs and a designated recording room.

The new location marks MakeOffices' ninth in the D.C. metro area, including locations at The Wharf, K Street, Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, Bethesda, Reston Town Center, Clarendon and Tysons. MakeOffices, which was founded in the DMV in 2011 at UberOffices, now has 14 locations nationwide, including in Chicago and Philadelphia.

"MakeOffices at Glover Park is a true diversification of our growing portfolio," said MakeOffices CEO Zach Wade in a statement. "It is the most residentially-located MakeOffices space to-date, yet it strategically serves as a creative hub for aspiring entrepreneurs and startups coming out of nearby Georgetown and American University. We think its 'suburban' position also offers greater connectivity for the neighborhood’s remote workers who seek alternatives to their home offices."
