  • Deal: raised $14 million in equity financing, the firm announced
  • Investors: Harbert Venture Partners and Noro-Moseley Partners co-led the round, and were joined by New Richmond Ventures
  • What they do: consumer engagement solutions for healthcare providers

Full Measure Education (Washington, DC)

  • Deal: raised $6M in equity financing, DC Inno reporters
  • Investors: investment led by Safeguard Scientifics (NYSE:SFE)
  • What they do: education software for post-secondary school
  • Other details: company is made up of former employees and execs from fellow D.C.-based edtech company Blackboard

Trustify (Washington, DC)

  • Deal: raises $1.9M, according to an SEC filing
  • Investors: undisclosed
  • What they do: a digital on-demand private investigation service
  • Other details: led by Danny Boice, previously of DC Tech enterprise communications startup Speek

Cyph (Vienna, VA)

  • Deal: raised a $520K debt round, according to an SEC filing
  • Investors: undisclosed
  • What they do: strong encrypted communications platform for both commercial and enterprise use-cases
