There's still time to get your application in for Techstars + Ecolab's Future of Food accelerator before the May 22 deadline.
In its seventh year, the program focuses on startups innovating how we feed a growing population safely and sustainably.
"The world of food tech continues to evolve across the food value chain, with more entrepreneurs, investors, and corporations getting involved every year," wrote Sarah Bain, Techstars Future of Food Powered by Ecolab managing director, in a release. "The Future of Food Powered by Ecolab Accelerator thesis has evolved alongside this industry growth. This year, we are excited to work with entrepreneurs solving the most significant problems across the food tech ecosystem."
Some of the startups the accelerator is looking for:
- Restaurant and retail technology — kitchen tech, automation and robotics; back-of-house operations tech; AI/ML and vision; labor optimization; food waste; and cleaning and sanitation.
- Food production — supply chain technology; digital technology; AI/ML; labor optimization; food waste; clean and safe food and water; and cleaning and sanitation.
- Labor — automation and efficiency; compliance and training; acquisition and retention; and safety and security.
