Digital River has appointed one of its board members, Vic Pacor, to be the company’s new CEO.

Pacor takes over from Adam Coyle, who had been top executive since 2018. Under Coyle’s leadership, the Minnetonka-based e-commerce company went through an initial phase of mass divestitures after its acquisition by Siris Capital Group.

That phase ended in 2020 after it received $50 million in growth equity from its parent company.

“We are thankful for Adam’s leadership over the last four years,” said Daniel Moloney, chairman of Digital River’s board of directors, in a statement. “From work accomplished under Adam, we believe Digital River is uniquely positioned to accelerate our growth curve. Vic Pacor is the right leader for this next phase of the organization."

Pacor, meanwhile, leaves his position at California-based electronics manufacturer D&M Group, where he served as president and CEO. He also has prior experience as chief marketing officer for Tokyo-based Sony, according to his LinkedIn bio.

"I am excited to join this organization of great people, products and services," said Pacor, in the release. "We are laser focused on building on the momentum that has been created over the past couple of years."

He holds a master's degree from Cornell University's Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management.
