Minne Inno's 2021 Gift Guide: These nine local startups have products you can buy this holiday season

With supply chain bottlenecks causing massive disruptions in holiday shipping, there's no better time to shop local for your holiday gifts this year.

To offer inspiration, Minne Inno has compiled the following list of Minnesota-made products for everyone on your list, including dogs and babies.

REMplenish Black
The REMplenish kit is available in a steel water bottle.
REMasteredSleep
REMmastered Sleep

This Eagan-based startup makes a water bottle that can improve the sleep of snorers by strengthening muscles in the tongue and throat with the use of a specialized nozzle. Its product lineup includes a steel water bottle, a plastic water bottle, or just the straw with the nozzle attached.

Busy Baby

Busy Baby makes silicone placemats and toys for teething babies. The Oronoco, Minnesota-based company won the Minnesota Cup's general division in 2020 and was featured on Shark Tank last spring.

Quill & Cue

Quill & Cue is a subscription service that gives users a now rare opportunity to send one handwritten card per month. The simple act gives the sender time to reflect, while the recipient is surprised by a thoughtful note. Subscribers receive a blank card, postmarked envelope and a cue card with a prompt. The Minneapolis-based company even offers a six-month gift subscription.

Maazah

Maazah is a St. Paul-based chutney and aioli company that received a huge boost from a New York Times feature in 2020. It ships three-packs of its "magic green sauce" nationwide.

Bright Planet Pet

Bright Planet Pet was founded in July 2020 by Katherine Ellison and quickly became the first plant-based dog treats on the market that taste and smell like real meat.

Silk Road Wellness, was founded by Annie Qaiser and makes Halal-friendly skincare and wellness products. It currently offers a gift-able lotion kit or gift cards.

This Minneapolis-based jewelry company offers a variety of products that are all handmade. Local pickup is also an option.

Lip Esteem

Lip Esteem makes plant-based, cruelty-free lipstick and lip care products. In addition to its makeup products, it also offers T-shirts and gift cards.

Best Buy Yardbird
Yardbird makes a variety of outdoor furniture.

Yardbird

Yardbird, a St. Louis Park-based company (just this month acquired by Best Buy Co. Inc.), sells premium, sustainable outdoor furniture, including dining sets, lounge seating, fire tables and accessories. While not exactly a stocking stuffer, the company's outdoor fireplace tables would make a great addition to any backyard.
