Bright HealthCare announced Tuesday it's growing into 42 new markets next year.
The Minneapolis-based health insurance startup is adding Texas, Georgia, Utah and Virginia. Meanwhile, it will also expand its product portfolio in states it already does business in, including Florida, California, Colorado and North Carolina.
The upcoming buildout brings Bright HealthCare's footprint to 17 states and 131 markets which reaches over 16.5 million eligible consumers.
Bright Health Group (NYSE: BHG) completed the largest ever initial public offering by a Minnesota-based company when it went public in June.
