Nexben, a cloud-based health insurance benefits platform, announced it hired Scib Ebel as the company's first chief technology officer.
The Minneapolis-based company said Ebel will be vital in creating Nexben's technological vision and implementing technology strategies that grow the business.

Ebel was previously the CTO at Minneapolis-based Icario, where he helped the company grow through organic development and mergers. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at Optum and Cigna.
“I’ve spent my entire career developing teams, directing technology strategies and devoting myself to the healthcare industry,” Ebel said. “I’m honored to join Nexben and continue its goal of revolutionizing the fragmented, complex benefits industry.”
