After four rounds of competition and almost 5,000 total votes, two tech startups have been selected to face off in the final round of Minne Inno's Tech Madness. Techstars alum Upsie will compete against Minnesota Cup winner StemoniX to determine the champion.

Warranty startup Upsie beat fellow Techstars Retail alum Branch Messenger in the Final Four. It was a close match, with Upsie edging out Branch by just seven votes. Upsie has been very effective at wrangling its followers during Tech Madness, but so has StemoniX.

StemoniX has received more votes than any other company in the bracket. In the last round, the biotech startup faced off against artificial intelligence startup Aftercode. And before that, StemoniX took down Bright Health, which last summer raised $160 million, the largest round of venture capital funding in Minnesota history.

These two companies have been clear favorites of the Minnesota tech community during the competition. But what will happen when they go head to head?

Our final round of Tech Madness is our shortest yet. Voting is open until Wednesday at 11:59 p.m.
